Girleeze offers insurance by car colour

The Bristol-based car insurer for women, Girleeze, has launched a simplified car insurance range. Head of Marketing, Minnie Green explains: "We find that when we ask female owners what type of car they have they usually reply by stating the car's colour. We therefore commissioned a risk profile according to car colour and came up with premiums to suit. Women seem to like our new approach as they usually find it difficult to identity the exact specifications of their vehicle. This way they simply insure a red astra, a green MR2 or a white polo. Interestingly, black cars seem to crash the most often. Green cars are lowest risk." So there you have it, buy a green car and become a safer driver, ladies.
